Getting New Zealand's beer to the UK and beyond wasn’t going to be easy, but a few beer pioneers, thought they could make it happen! So when five of New Zealand’s most unique, independent and award winning breweries got together (over a suitable glass of something amber) and discovered that they really quite liked each other, loved our beer, and loved to share - then we knew we could make it happen.

So the New Zealand Beer Collective was formed - in all its glory. Independent, innovative and ready to hit the UK. From Tuatara’s APA profiling the wow factor our unique hops have brought to the world,  to Yeastie Boys’ Pot Kettle Black showcasing the later wave of kiwi homebrewer innovation, and 8 Wired’s barrel beer illustrating the diversification to unique and esoteric stuff. The Beer Collective first hit UK soil in February 2015 and we haven't looked back since. BRACE YOURSELF, BRITAIN AND BEYOND..... WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED.

Yeastie Boys

The Yeastie Boys - Stu McKinlay and Sam Possenniskie are the dynamic duo of New Zealand's craft beer scene. They burst onto the beer landscape with two trophies for their flagship porter Pot Kettle Black at BrewNZ 2009 and have remained firmly ensconced there ever since.
The Yeastie Boys say that they stay ahead of the game by being food and drink lovers first and foremost and postmodern craft beer cult heroes on the side.
